Creating a Feed

How to create a basic feed in the Graze app.

Managing a feed is the main thing you do in Graze. This guide will help you get to know the flow of creating and updating feeds.

Creating the First Version

To create a feed click the plus icon in the sidebar.

Fill in the title and description. You can optionally add and avatar too.

Use the editor to create your feed. To read more about how the editor work read Using the Editor.

Once you’re happy with your feed, click “Create”. This will create your feed on the Graze platform. To publish the feed to Bluesky, click the “Publish” button on the feed’s page in Graze.

Once this is done you’ve successfully published your first feed from Graze 🎉

NOTE: Once your feed has been published it will take time to accumulate posts as they are made in the network. Currently graze only adds posts to feeds as they happen. We plan on adding “backfilling” to make that smoother.

Updating Feeds

Updating a feed is very similar to creating one.

The general lifecycle of a feed update is:

  1. You edit your feed
  2. You click “Update” to create a new “draft version”. This lets you iterate on your next version of your algorithm before updating the one on Bluesky.
  3. When ready, you click publish to push the new feed to Bluesky.
