Sponsored Posts
February 2025: We're getting ready to officially launch our sponsored posts marketplace. All the tools below are working right now, but until we launch, you won't see much activity in the marketplace!
This guide will walk you through the process of how advertisers can sponsor posts on your feed. Our sponsored content platform is designed to help advertisers connect with feed creators and promote their content, and to make sure you as the feed creator get rewarded for all your hard work!
Setting up your account
To get set up to accept sponsored posts, first head over to your Account page on the Dashboard:

If you're a Sponsor looking to promote posts on a feed, you'll need to set up a credit card to fund your campaigns. This means you need to accept our Paid Services Terms. Read these carefully, and understand what sort of posts can be promoted via our network.
If you're a feed creator, you'll need to set up your Graze account to receive payments from our third-party payment processor, Stripe. You do not need to set up a separate Stripe account. Once again, you'll need to agree to our Paid Services Terms. Make sure you read them carefully to see what sort of content is appropriate for sponsored posts. Please make sure you are able to receive payments in your country from Stripe before proceeding. If your feed is NSFW, you may not be able to monetize it. Come and chat to us in the Discord if that applies to you.
Write a bio that will appear on the landing page of your feeds telling advertisers what you're interested in having appear.

Now it's time to turn on monetization for our chosen feed!
Turning on Sponsored Posts
Head over to your dashboard and choose the feed you'd like to show sponsored posts on. On the settings page for that feed, you can toggle Monetization on:

Once you've toggled this on, you can choose how much you'd like to charge an advertiser to appear in your feed, and you can write a short description of the feed that will appear in Graze's advertising marketplace.
Don't forget to hit Publish after you've made these changes!
The Advertising Marketplace
Once your feed is set up for monetization, you can view it in the Graze Ad Marketplace:

Advertisers will be able to search the marketplace for suitable feeds for their promoted posts at a price point they're happy with.
Running a campaign
OK - so, as an advertiser, when I find a feed that looks perfect for me, I can visit that feeds page and create a campaign:

The campaign page lets me name my campaign, specify a budget, and add the post I'd like to promote into the feed:

Now, let's imagine I want to show off Eggybricks amazing LEGO ambulance to the people subscribed to the LEGO feed. Here's a post I might want to promote:

I'm going to go ahead and paste that post url into the Campaign Creator, and set a budget:

My proposed campaign will now show as an Outbound Campaign on my campaigns page:

Accepting a Campaign
As a feed creator, when an advertiser proposes advertising on my feed, it will appear in Inbound Campaigns on my campaign page:

If I click on the proposal, I can see the details from the advertiser, including the exact post they'd like to promote:

I can choose to accept or reject any campaign proposal.
Activating a Campaign
Once a feed creator has accepted a campaign, the advertiser must activate the campaign to set it running:

How a Campaign Works
Once a campaign is activated, Graze will inject the promoted post into the feed.
Here is our promoted post, in the LEGO feed!

Both the advertiser and the feed creator can monitor the progress of the campaign from their ad dashboard, and importantly, either can deactivate the campaign at any time.
Things to Think About
As a feed creator, you'll want to consider what sort of promoted posts your community will respond well to. You might want to require that advertisers make it clear in their post that the content is sponsored. And you'll want to think about how many ads you accept, so that your feed isn't overrun with repeated posts.
In the feed settings, you are able to specify a "saturation limit" so that a quieter feed is not overrun with ads:

You might also want to keep a monetized feed out of the general Graze marketplace, because you're soliciting proposals directly from targeted advertisers. You can do that on your ad user settings page:

Payments
You can access a detailed history of payments in and out via your account settings or the campaign dashboard:
